Nkunku was one of the standout performers for RB Leipzig as he scored the first goal of the game just four minutes into the match. His goal was a testament to his pace and skill as he found space behind the Union Berlin defense and finished coolly to put RB Leipzig ahead.

Olmo also had a hand in the second goal as he played a beautiful pass to Nkunku who then completed the move by scoring the second goal of the game. The third goal came courtesy of Szoboszlai who scored from close range following a brilliant through ball from Nkunku.

The victory means that RB Leipzig will face either Borussia Monchengladbach or VfB Stuttgart in the German Cup final next week. It is the second time in the last two seasons that RB Leipzig has reached the final of this competition, and they will be hoping to secure a first major trophy at the club.
